I have made my views clear. Here is my opinion of Caren.

She Supports LGBTQIA+ Ideology and the PRIDE Flag Flown on City Property
All have the right to fly whichever flag they choose on private property. Caren has utilized her position to introduce, promote and enforce her Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and Social Justice policy wrapped in the LGBTQIA+ Pride flag as a Trojan horse. From my view, Caren and other City leaders have deceived its citizens into believing that flying the radicalized LGBTQIA+ Pride flag with our USA flag on public property is to commemorate the civil rights movement ignited by the Stonewall Riots in New York City (1960's). The Pride flag is not a commemorative flag, it represents an ideology (religion) that celebrates sexual orientation. Due to the public's misunderstanding of this divisive deception, citizens have wasted hours of passionate, heartfelt testimonials voicing their opposition or support without our leadership informing them that their "feelings" are irrelevant. The Supreme Court has made it clear that a flag (like the Pride flag) that represents a creed, ideology (religion) or political statement cannot fly on public property, only commemorative flags are allowed. The ever-changing LGBTQIA+ flag is ever changing and represents the dictate tolerance and inclusion of ALL sexual orientations (including pedophilia) and transgenderism. It in no way commemorates the Stonewall riots nor does it represent the average citizen who is gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or trans. Most are freely and safely living their lives with the protected equal right we all share.
There is no such thing as the LGBTQIA+ community, people with differing sexual preferences or orientations are not all riding around in the same clown car together. We are all individuals with equal rights to live freely and safely among the groups of people we chose to as do the majority of LGBT folks.

Demolishing the Civil Rights of the Children and Parents of Arroyo Grande
As Mayor and a Santa Maria High School teacher, why doesn't Caren speak out against Newsom's laws that are allowing our State, schools and the medical industrial complex be wards of children over their parent?
Newsom has made it legal and mandatory to indoctrinate children into their radical anti-American LGBTQIA+ church through curriculum, pornography, radicalized teachers influence, Drag shows on school property... while stiping the rights of other students and parents who oppose it. Why is Caren silent? In my opinion, she may be a member of this radical church but LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE and keep parents informed to ensure their child's safety.
Why is this insanity still here in Arroyo Grande? You can thank Newsom, his local political puppets and radicalized supporters. This ideology leads to irreversible child psychological warfare, sexualization, chemical and surgical sterilization and mutilation. It also dictates that males pretending to be female be included in female sports as well as female's safe, private spaces. To accommodate this ridiculous but incredibly dangerous ideology. If a parent complains or refuses to go along with this insanity, they risk losing custody of their child. If a student speaks out against this lunacy they are threatened and concerned about repercussions. There is no such thing as a Trans child. Children are minor who cannot consent to mutilating surgeries and drugs that lead irreversible, lifelong harm. Most, like us, will figure out their sexual orientation with time, if left alone. As a nation and as a City, we must protect children.

LGBTQIA+ Graphic Child Pornography in Arroyo Grande High School Library
Caren is a teacher who remains silent regarding the overwhelming volumes of LGBTQIA+ child pornography and lewd books that I found in the Arroyo Grande High School library. It remains there today. These books are in schools across California by dictate of the State. Caren proclaimed at City Council meetings that she "supports" her LGBTQIA+ students, she "sees" them and that they are "safe" in her arms. If a child is struggling, feels bullied, not welcome, may have emotional challenges, etc. it is a teachers moral obligation to inform Administrators and the child's parents. It is not a teacher's job to indoctrinate students with their personal ideologies nor become personally involved with them. Teachers are not qualified to make decisions on behalf of a child regarding their health or overall wellbeing.
Sadly, following the lock downs many children are suffering from a nationwide mental health crisis. What a perfect opportunity for groomers (some who are teachers) to prey on these children with a promise of eternal happiness, if the follow the groomer down the yellow brick road of Transgenderism's affirmative "care". Parents are lied to. They are told their child will commit suicide if not allowed to "transition". In reality, children whose lives were destroyed by this irreversible practice of the radical LGBTQIA+ church's indoctrination commit suicide far more often than other children who are suffering from emotional issues. It is the parents, not the groomers and doctor who have to pick up the pieces of their child's life.
California's public schools are ranked 49th worst in our nation as too many teachers are clearly obsessed with radicalizing children and do not teach them how to think, but what to think. Teaching should be a competitive profession so we ensure the finest teachers are helping educate the children as they are the future of our county and we must protect our Constitutional Republic to guarantee their future. Just as we must elect local leaders who will stand against unjust laws that threaten that future.

Arrogance, Bullying and Threats
I have personally been the brunt of what I perceive as Caren's ignorant arrogance, bullying and bad behavior. Her influence and probable actions related to me were unethical, personal and unnecessarily cost the City money. I was also denied due process when applying the Tourism Business Industries District Advisory Board. I applied after attending meetings (that Caren would also attend) and witnessing its complete mismanagement, its forced DEI practices, wasted taxpayers monies, overpaying consultants, and conflicts of interest. Caren had to eventually recuse herself from voting on TBID items due to my concerns. As a business consultant, her actions along with others inspired me to start looking at into our City leadership and eventually, a run for Mayor.

Bad Behavior - Can a Leopard Change its Spots?
Caren's association with SLO Hash House Harriers and bad behavior with her students should be considered. This is an article from Cal Coast News from 2010. According to the SLO House Harriers web site, they are “a drinking group with a running problem.” They organize runs called hashers, an event that involves drinking and running after someone dubbed the hare.
Hashing is a mixture of athleticism, drinking, public nudity, cross dressing and hedonism, according to a hasher website. Here is an excerpt from the Cal Coast News article:
Members are given nicknames such as Princess, Panama Jackoff, Rub Her Dinghy and SLO-Cop-You-Later (Ray’s nickname). “It is a running group,” Ray said. “I have not been to an event in some time because it can be misjudged. I am no longer a member.”And while Ray, a Santa Maria High School social sciences teacher, contends this is just normal adult activity, her comments about drinking in public places such as the Arroyo Grande Wal-Mart parking lot, sex on the running trail and her students’ drinking has caused some to question her ability to represent the city. A 2009 news article about the Santa Maria High School swim team which is coached by Ray, notes that the swimmers have been given nicknames such as a girl dubbed Cherry Drop and a guy named Princess.
Ray responded, “We’re totally unashamed of taking a page out of the Hash Handbook for namings! The kid named Princess… :-) And yes, funny you should ask, Cherry Drop has been known to toss a few back.”
Santa Maria Principal Craig Huseth said it is inappropriate for his teachers to be discussing their students on public message boards. Ray, however, does not agree. “There is nothing wrong with me commenting on a student’s drinking,” Ray said. “She (Cherry Drop) is known to toss a few back.”

2021 Our City's Anti-Constitutional Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and Social Justice tramples the Constitutional Civil Rights of all Arroyo Grande citizens and its visitors. Who at the City is enforcing this policy, Caren, our City staff, the hired DEI consultants? And, who decides who is guilty of social injustice? What is punishment for non-compliance in this Cultural War?
Some are confused by what sound like pretty words. Our nation is organically diverse and inclusion is not dictated in our personal lives. No pediphiles, transgenderism dictators, racists, radical ideologists nor communists in my life, which is my free choice. I will not be judged by current Mayor Caren Ray Russom, or victimized by what she or the aforementioned perceives as her/their authority in enforcing their DEI or Social Justice policy.
Equity is the most deceptive of these pretty words. Equity is the dictated, forced compliance that all (no need to be a United States citizen) will end up in the same place in America. No morals, merit, hard work, ethics, talent...needed. No dreams, vision, enovation, entrepreneurship allowed. Boys can become girls and girls can become boys. The State will take care of you, though our State is billions in debt, and punish you if you fail to comply. Sound familiar?
Equality, that our Constitution and Constitutional Republic guarantees and protects, means all United States citizens' have equal opportunity rights. Yes, we still need to strive to achieve this goal but look how amazingly far we have come.
Arroyo Grande is already a very safe and welcoming community. We are not racists, nor intolerant as the City's DEI policy implies. From my perspective, continuing to force our City's staff and citizens to comply with the City's DEI Social Justice policy creates liability for our City, particularly pertaining to hiring practices and staff retention efforts.
As mentioned DEI, Social Justice is anti-American and unconstitutional. It is why hundreds of companies and thousands of Californians have fled our great State and why hundreds of businesses, universities, government agencies, etc. are abolishing their forced DEI policies and practices. They have discovered DEI leads to lowest of standards, bad business practices, unsafe conditions, divisive company culture, and customer rejection - possible bankruptcy.
The primary goal of forced Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, destroy Capitalism through Socialism which leads to Communism...all 'isms' lead to Totalitarianism. This plan can easily be found and demonstrated in the Ten planks of the Communist Manifesto which has been achieved, particularly in California and its public schools and some universities. I believe this is due to leaders and influencers like Caren who is our current Mayor but also a Government History teacher. Through advocacy and new leaders in place, thankfully, people are waking up and standing against DEI, manipulative culture wars and divisive policies.
